Review on 🔒 Hillman 592023 4 Inch Safety Product by Johnny Snyder

Perfect for my campervan. Holds my large mugs securely. I pre-drilled the hole a little smaller than the diameter of the rod of this cup hook so that the rod "bites" into the wood well. I was then able to easily screw the hook into the hole by hand. The bottom of my upper cabinet is thin, maybe 1/4 inch plywood, and I was concerned that the hook wouldn't hook into the wood enough for the hook to hold up well. It seems to be holding up well and doesn't move. The width of the hook does not hold my handcrafted stoneware coffee mug which has a handle about 3/4 inch thick. (I kinda expected this, so I don't blame the product.) But it fits my other commercially made coffee mugs, which I would describe as having "standard" width handles. They are thicker than the handles of a teacup. Once the mug is hooked onto this hook, there is NO escape! I recommend pre-drilling as I did.
