One of the main issues is that there is space on the back where moisture can collect under the adjustable mounting mechanism and cover. This isn't a good design if you don't have a gap and want a closed system where urine and dust don't accumulate and also in hard-to-reach places. The gap gets in the way because the rear bumpers don't touch the edge of the toilet seat. I thought this should solve both of those problems. Installation was a breeze and I don't think a mistake was made - it looks like an whoops design.
