I love this chair cover! I have a large armchair in my living room. The cover is very soft and stays on my chair very well. All you have to do is follow the instructions and use the 2 elastic loops near the back of the seat to connect to the bottom of your chair and the other 2 elastic loops near the front of the seat to tie them together under the chair's extended footrest. elastic bands 4 loops in total; not just 2 of them as it seems in the description of this chair cover. I didn't have to use foam sticks to hold the lid in place as 4 elastic loops hold the lid securely in place. Even if people sit and stand up in the chair, I still don't need foam sticks. The lid is tight. I highly recommend this cover for the velvety soft material, how well the cover stays on the chair without using foam swabs, and washes very well without tearing or changing color.
