It is difficult to check the spacing requirements between all 10 digits of a phone number in the For Sale field. I made a mistake by entering some numbers and was a little wrong. But once those numbers come to the surface, peeling to reposition stretches and distorts the entire number, while repositioning leaves the stretched areas in place to be massaged. Finally, I cut the number out of the sheet so I could position them all before removing them from the backing. If even one edge touched the surface, it had to be stretched to remove it. Very frustrating. If I had to design a set of stick-on numbers, I would either make them moveable until they rub against the surface, or mount each number on a clear backing so they can be positioned independently before the backing is removed.
