I bought this for my niece for Christmas. It hit her (and me) just right. The variety of items in the veterinary set allowed for endless plot variations. Since she had a dog and a cat, there were more stories to be told, and she quickly began taking her "temperature," applying bandages and medication, and generally having fun. I think from the moment the presents were unwrapped until dinner, this was the main toy played with. I appreciated the fact that it caught her attention, allowed her to use her imagination with beautifully designed props, and felt pretty solid. I think she will enjoy it for a while and maybe one day become a proper vet!
