Solid Bottle/Bad Cap Containment

I have only had this for about a week. In full disclosure, it has been through normal wear and tear, including being lightly dropped from about waist height. I am pretty dismayed that the strap for the cap has ripped already. I have carried by that on my fingers, but that in no way should have affected the strap like this. See picture.
