Good. One size small imo

Size XL fits my son who usually wears large dresses. My husband who wears size XL did not fit and he is thin. My son is 145 pounds at 6ft 2in so he is quite skinny. It's not super tight, but it's not loose either. Precisely. The material is nice and the color is great. He said that diving was enjoyable all day and I could see him perfectly! Love it. IMO size is small.

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Pay attention to the size when swimming laps

Nice shirt. Everything I've read said to order a size or two up because these shirts are so comfortable. I did and it's too big. But I wear it to swimming laps in the master class. He's too free for that. For this type of swimming, the shirt should fit snugly. I would order your normal size or maybe a size up. For beach wear or boat trips, larger sizes are more comfortable.

Misled by other reviews

Well made rashguard. I don't agree with other reviews that it's too small. Some people need to understand that this is an ill-advised defense and is meant to be somewhat harsh. I usually wear L-XL, I ordered 2 more based on the reviews. I sent it back and ordered XL and it fits perfectly. I'm 6ft 210lbs, I'm muscular but not muscular. I would recommend going one size up from the maximum or normal shirt size. If you want it to fit like a shirt, it's not for that.

True to size in my experience

I really don't understand why so many reviews are advising you to go a size (or 2) up. I am 6ft 200lbs tall and am very comfortable in a standard oversized t shirt. I bought XL and found it to be a standard XL for torso length and sleeve length. It's a rashguard so it fits the body snugly but I find the sizing is accurate in my case. In terms of quality, the material is relatively soft, but the quilting on the inside seams is a bit scratchy. They could definitely be better. Overall I think this

Thanks O'Neill for the diving and snorkeling

This rash guard is amazing. pale white in color and this protection is equivalent to an SPF 50 sunscreen. Third, it breathes much better than under the armor I used instead. be tight to give you a second skin feel. It is convenient and very mobile. It is well made and has a great color. Thank you Oneill for making a great product for tall men.

Great product, order 1-2 sizes up.

I have followed most of the reviews and ordered t-shirts two sizes larger than I normally wear. I'm 6ft 1in 180lbs and usually wear a medium shirt and sometimes a large size. I found the XL size in this product to fit well as a UA type sport compression top, which is what I want from this type of rashguard (tight but not tight). If you're looking for a slightly looser men's swim top, you can Consider the O'Neill UV Sun Protection Rashguard Men's T-Shirt, I found Large in this product, it fits…

Went kayaking for the weekend and this shirt was great. I have fair skin and usually struggle with sunscreen all the time which results in amazing patchy sunburns. In this shirt I was in direct sunlight for about 7 hours and didn't get the slightest trace of sunburn. And when you hit the water, this shirt is great at keeping moisture close to your skin, keeping you cool. Regarding size: I'm small and in relatively good shape. 5ft 10in, 160lbs, 30in waist, 40in chest and I originally ordered…
