Good looks but durability and fog are an issue

Typically, Chinese-made LED headlights need to be replaced about every year or so as the LEDs start to dim. I assume they are overloading the lower lumen output LEDs to increase the profit margins a bit. This is my third set of LED headlights on my JKU. The latter didn't necessarily darken, but I really didn't like the high beam pattern, and the low beam pattern had a clear projection of the wing of a bat crashing into oncoming traffic. I like their radiation pattern better. It will be interesting to see how long they last with such a compact LED array. The suitcases are a bit bulky. I had trouble installing the passenger side as none of the lights fit in the mounting ring. Using a sharp knife I cut off the mounting ring inserts slightly and the problem was resolved, but there was no such problem before. One issue after initial installation is the TON of light projected into the air by the low beam LED array. There is no cover or fairing to prevent this, making driving in the fog fun. I will be keeping an eye on the mist's durability and performance as these are my main concerns.
