I chose this device because it was one of the few that had an Android DVD/CD player. There is a separate button for the GPS function. It uses Sygic navigation software. It works, but it does weird things like marking local cities as counties, and when you search it looks at the entire United States instead of looking at the local area first. There is a slot for a GPS map, but this is empty, the maps are loaded into the built-in memory. The biggest problem I had was the clock not showing the correct time. Initially it seemed to get stuck in UTC time, no matter what setting I tried it showed the time 8 hours late. After all, it switches off after an hour with fully automatic mode and switches to the correct time zone after about 3 minutes. I'm not sure if that has been fixed. It has a 9-band graphic equalizer and you can use the Play Store to download apps. I was able to download Angry Birds. It takes about 30 seconds to boot up the system and play the radio. The lag takes a little getting used to, but you get used to it. The iPhone mirroring system allows you to mirror the iPhone screen on the device's display, but you cannot control anything from the device.
