My father defined good internet as 10 Mb/s, 600 Mb/min. He grew up I believe in the stone age of the internet and is content with slow internet, youtube and streaming services that pause for minutes and interrupt the internet. I eventually found out it was the router and not necessarily our ISP (although the ISP shut down the service for a few hours due to unspoken service, although that's another matter). So, with this router, I blessed my dad into the 21st century. the Internet. No delays when streaming. YouTube does not automatically change the quality to 360 pixels. Everything just works. Is this the *best* router on the market? Unlikely - I still notice that it takes maybe 3 seconds to load the YouTube homepage (although I also have visual enhancements that cause lag). When playing an MMO, there is NO LAG OR DC. I can play with HIGH OPTIMUM VISUAL settings. I'm so happy. Internet speed is ok. Everything just works. I'm uploading 46-246 MB to speedtest.net and surprisingly couldn't be happier. And the price is a reasonable $80. The $40 Tenda and Xiaomi routers my dad bought gave me 10Mbps latency, which is 4.5x to 24x better. (My speeds will probably differ from yours due to my computer/walls/how many devices are connected etc.).
