Review on 🧱 Building with LEGO Classic Creative Suitcase: Enhancing Creativity in Play by Mark Hicks

good toy; could be awesome

What took this toy from good to great is so incredibly simple, I don't know why the LEGO folks didn't realize it. All it takes is that the inside of the top of the case has a LEGO mounting grid; nothing more nothing less and you have a five star toy. The problem with it in its current form, if you try to travel with it, as I suspect many do, is that there's really no motivation to play with Lego inside the case, and given its edges, there actually is a reason not to do this .this. , you will get Lego all over the table, seat, floor etc. If the top of the case were a flat mounting base, then children are encouraged to open it side-by-side and start assembling from the top. Sides so their structures can stand up from there without having to build a solid base and then parents are happier because all the Lego stays in the case. So in its current form it's a plastic box with Legos inside, all assembled. go out and go everywhere. Personally, I'm more likely to use padlocks to hold them if I'm going to lose them anyway; then it's at least easier for me to stuff them in my hand luggage.
