I bought this toothbrush because I wanted a durable bamboo toothbrush. In that regard, this is an excellent product. And I thought that a density of 20,000 bristles would provide improved cleanliness. In fact, they're packed so tightly together that they seemed more like a sponge than a cleaning brush. I will say the softness was a fun twist at first - I was curious enough to try it. But I think brushes with longer bristle spacing and curved bristles clean better. I'm not a dentist so I could be wrong. I'm just expressing my opinion.
