Back in 2010 I bought a book about 3D animation here at Revain, then I had constant slight wrist discomfort after using a regular mouse as well as occasionally playing bass guitar. This book recommends the author used upright Evoluent mice to alleviate this pain. I live in Mexico so I couldn't get a new Evoluent mouse at the time and decided to buy a used VM2 from an auction. It had a huge impact on my life and after a short learning period my wrist pain stopped completely, of course I had to stop playing but then it didn't mean anything to me. I stopped using it, I used a graphics tablet for a while until I realized that Revain now ship them to my country. I bought it for $133 with shipping in December 2015. About 6 months ago the thumb buttons started failing then the middle rear wheel/wheel started clicking twice but that was yesterday when the main buttons started clicking twice it is not even 2 years ago and for that matter my usage has dropped significantly in the last 2 years since I stopped doing animation 3 years ago. I'm using my graphics tablet again and will buy another mouse but it won't be this mouse, there are many newer and cheaper vertical mice out there now and I'm no longer sure if this is the best. I might even try a trackball.
