Description of 🖱️ Small Size Evoluent VM4S VerticalMouse 4 Right Hand Ergonomic Mouse with Wired Connection - Original VerticalMouse Brand Since 2002

PREVENTS WRIST DISCOMFORT - Evoluent's ergonomic VM4S VerticalMouse 4 gently supports your right hand in an upright neutral position. The patented shape prevents you from twisting your forearm like what you usually do with an ordinary mouse. PROGRAM YOUR MOUSE TO YOUR NEEDS - Install the Evoluent Mouse Manager onto your computer to configure the VerticalMouse's buttons. Not only can you change their function but you can also set how the buttons work within different programs. ADJUST MOUSE-SPEED FROM LOW TO HIGH - You can adjust the pointer speed from low to high with the optical sensor controls on the side of the mouse. There is no need to release the grip for speed adjustment. OFFERS OPTIMUM COMFORT - The VerticalMouse 4 has a broader lip along the bottom edge that prevents the pinky finger from rubbing the desk. The thumb has been reshaped from earlier version to provide more comfort. HARDWARE COMPATIBILITY: VerticalMouse is plug-n-play compatible with all operating systems that support USB. Basic button and wheel functions work without additional drivers. SOFTWARE COMPATIBILITY: VerticalMouse comes with Mouse Manager software for customizing the buttons. Mouse Manager is compatible with: Windows 7 and 10 Mac OS 10.5 to 10.14 (update for 10.15 is under development. Third party software may be used in place of Mouse Manager for OS 10.15.).

You were first, but are you the best?

Back in 2010 I bought a book about 3D animation here at Revain, then I had constant slight wrist discomfort after using a regular mouse, as well as occasionally playing bass guitar, in this book the author recommends Evoluent brand upright mice to relieve this pain. I live in Mexico so I couldn't get a new Evoluent mouse at the time and decided to buy a used VM2 from an auction. It had a big impact on my life. and after a short training period, my wrist problems stopped completely, of course i…

Easy to get used to, comfortable programmable buttons

Several different employers got a small version of this mouse for my work place and I use it at home too. I love that you can use software to program extra functions into extra buttons - the center button is great for double-clicking, and I always install software to use that extra function. Most other people can use it without too much confusion after a while, being much more confused by the center button than the side orientation. Good size, nice (slightly heavy) weight, the keys can be…

Healed my wrist pain! Missing button #1 after multiple purchases

This mouse saved me from wrist pain but it has a very annoying flaw. I'm on my 4th VM4S. All showed the same problem. After about 6 months, the top button #1 will start to double-click when pressed once. Frustrating when surfing the web, but totally useless when doing Revit or CAD work. Evoluent replaced the first mouse by saying just send us a picture of an old mouse with the cord cut. Wow, good customer service. Next time they wanted me to pay for shipping. I had to buy the other 3. It's…

Sometimes it gets so bad I can hardly pick up a pen.

I have tendonitis in my right wrist. Sometimes it gets so bad I can barely pick up a pen let alone use it, and my job is computer work and writing, everything. Day. long. So I was desperate and ordered this mouse. But at the same time I was also using my King Brand BFST on my wrist which made it feel much better so I canceled the mouse order before I received it. I didn't have to spend that $80! But when I got it, I opened it. I was fascinated. I hooked it up to my computer and it came alive…

The only mouse I can use for a long time

This is really the only mouse I can use for my work without wrist pain. I originally bought a regular size Evoluent vertical mouse and this made my pain worse because my hand wasn't on the table. Got this small size instead and wow! Got rid of my wrist pain completely. The only downside is that the extra keys have a mapping that I don't like and can't be remapped on all computers. Linux had to do some digging and didn't always work at first. Now using with a Chromebook and there doesn't seem to

The best vertical mouse on the market

I'm still confused that this design wasn't the original design of a mouse. If you suffer from carpal tunnel or tennis elbow, you need this mouse. Your pain will go away within two weeks. The Evoluent mouse has very precise pointer control and you can fully customize the buttons to your liking. And with six buttons, the possibilities are endless. If you are considering a vertical mouse, look no further. Keep this in mind. Don't give up in the first few days. Use your mouse for at least two weeks

Really ergonomic for little hands!

I've been using this mouse for a month and I hope I like this mouse! I tried 6 other mice looking for an ergonomic solution including 3 vertical mice. I work 9-10 hours a day on the computer and spend 90% of that time on the mouse. My hand is just under 7 inches long and this mouse fits me very well. I need a wrist rest and I use an IMAK. There are 6-10 programmable buttons and adjustable mouse speed. The thumb rest is well positioned for my small hand. The weight of the mouse is just right…

Tired wrist from frequent mouse use? Get one. Currently.

Although I don't use this mouse on my gaming PC, this mouse has been a lifesaver for me at work. At my last job, I struggled with severe wrist fatigue from sitting and working on a computer 5 days a week. The Ergonomics Workforce recommended using a mouse that keeps the wrist in a more natural position and reduces stress on the wrists. It was one of the mice they recommended. Although I had a regular vertical Evoluent mouse at my last job, I bought a small one for my current job. The regular…

No more wrist pain!

I've only been using this mouse for a week so I may have to update this review if I use the mouse a little longer. As an animator, I sit at my desk all the time and have been told several times that a vertical mouse is much more ergonomic than a traditional mouse. I've struggled with tendonitis for years and sometimes it got so bad it hurt to work! Every weekend I had to relax my arms and hands to recover, which not only sucks since I'm only 32, but also makes the weekend work so damn hard…
