I ordered 24" x 36" for our dog as he sleeps in the kennel on cold nights. The first thing that struck me was that it clearly wasn't 2 feet. by 3 feet. It was 22 1/2 inches x 34 1/4 inches. I can only assume they measure these things the same way large boxes measure wood. Call it a nitpick if you will, but since they are sized I expect to get what I pay for. If you send a smaller size, please charge me the price of the smaller size. Anyway, it wasn't enough to give it back to me. However, after the first night we checked it and thought there was a problem as it was barely warm and we couldn't tell if it was working or just sleeping on it. tried the second night. It got colder that night and my wife (that's her dog) checked again and actually continued to fiddle with the controls, thinking it wasn't on, even though the light did come on when it was at its highest. As a last straw, we brought it in to plug in and in fact after a while it still felt like it was just warm from contact and cooled VERY QUICKLY when exposed to the air again. If you're using this to warm a dog bed, kennel, crate, kennel, or anything else outside, consider propane heaters, patio heaters, or any other heat source appropriate and appropriate for your kennel. or "walk a little". Based on this experience I would not recommend it. I have included a photo of the packaging on the care label and instructions for clarification as they are in direct contrast to what is advertised on the listing.
