I thought it was a different product but it's really just another silicone based gel. Does that make your disguise black? Yes, not bad actually, but because it's silicone it makes things slippery and tends to attract dust and dirt. Although I don't use the footpegs to get in and out, my boot hits them and it definitely feels smoother. In addition, the neighbor next door mowed the lawn, cleaned the driveway with a blower, dusted all the freshly waxed turtle trims and boards sufficiently and stuck everything together. Note that my method of application is to apply the gel with an old terry towel and then use a microfiber to wipe away the excess so the product doesn't smudge at all. I wipe it as dry as possible and it still leaves a black finish so I love it but the dust collection bugs me so for $7 it doesn't hurt me to toss it and find something. still. I hope this helps someone in their purchasing decision.
