Everything in this kit definitely worked for my 2010 MacBook Pro model A1286, but it might bother a perfectionist or someone with OCD. The keyboard protector is super soft but it stays put without any sticky adhesive. But, the words on the right hand side are a teeny tiny bit off. The color of the case is not as bright as in the pic, and the pic doesn't show that there are seams in the plastic where the clips are. This might be a user error, but the laptop lid only shuts to 99% now, which is not a big deal. The dust plugs are accurate. There's even one for the charging port. The screen protector doesn't lay flat because it covers the bezel and the screen all with one sheet, but the bezel doesn't sit flush with the screen. I'll probably only keep it on while my daughter is in her color-on-everything phase. So overall, I'm pretty happy with the kit for the cost.
