I just tested a 27 inch INNOCN brand gaming monitor with a display frequency of 144Hz at 1ms on my PC and it passed with flying colors. I first checked the windows display settings and made sure the monitor is 144hz capable. I then went to an online site to test and rate the monitor's performance and it also confirmed that it was running at 144Hz. with 4 screws using the included Phillips screwdriver. However, it was not clear how to attach the base to the monitor. You need to remove the mounting plate metal bracket from the back of the monitor and then attach the base to the plate. Then snap the assembled base onto the back of the monitor. As an alternate installation option, you can remove the base from the monitor and install the monitor on a wall mount, but no other hardware is included. Plug and play connections are located on the bottom rear of the active monitor, HDMI3. HDMI2, HDMI1, DP and audio jack. The audio port is used to connect headphones. Comes with two cables, power adapter and HDMI cable. However, since it includes a digital port (DP), you can use both. And from what I've read, HDMI and DP connections seem to have the same bandwidth. It depends on which versions of these ports are supported by your game card. For the test, I connected the monitor using a cable with a digital connection and showed good performance. After connecting to the slot, I accessed the Windows settings, made the 27-inch monitor my primary display, and set it to 144Hz. Power On and Settings The monitor has an on/off switch that is linked to the settings via an up, down, left, and right rocker switch located on the back panel in the lower right corner. For me, fiddling with the settings with the toggle switch is a big minus. I was able to learn the controls, but it's inconvenient to use. When activated, it displays the selection on the screen, and with your hand on the monitor, press the toggle switch until you get to the menu to make your changes. At the same time, the brightness of the monitor was not enough initially, and I managed to find a brightness slider and raise it from 70 percent to 90 percent. I think the setting controls should be on separate radio buttons. For my test, I launched an online Fortnite game and the display was crisp and the motion graphics were smooth.
