Yes, that's expensive for a dog coat! But after spending money on cheaper ones that either didn't fit, didn't work properly, or were of poor quality, I decided to take a risk. It was worth every penny and you really do get what you pay for. First, the quality of the fabric and tailoring is top notch. Fits EXACTLY as expected after following manufacturer's sizing guide. Don't blame them if it doesn't fit! Chances are you have NOT FULLY read their tips and instructions. Neck and hindquarter protection is my favorite part. Although this particular style doesn't include a full abdominal closure (basically just a tether), my dog is very large and his tummy never gets wet. Take this into account when purchasing. It is also a lightweight rain jacket and is not insulated for cold weather. If necessary, it can be used on other layers. But I bought it more for summer showers. It definitely protects against strong tailwinds. Much luck
