Had to send back as I thought there was a swivel function (like most other models). It was a deal breaker but otherwise the build quality seems really solid. When not in use, the form factor is compact - it's spring-loaded, so it compresses a little less than your phone. Could fit iPhone 7 plus with thick speck case with some headroom. You probably don't need straps for a smooth ride - they're pretty solid and the silicone feet give you a good grip. As long as you don't worry about switching to landscape mode (I wanted to be able to capture video from the front of the bike) - and you're happy with the angle adjustment once you attach it to the handlebars - I think that's it bracket for you!
