Review on TYC 700158 Blower Assy for 99-05 VW Jetta/Golf/GTI - Efficient Cooling Solution by Josh Jeffries

Purchased to replace a faulty fan motor in a 2002 VW Jetta. The replacement is very simple, contrary to the instructions you do not need to remove the glove compartment. Removing the torx screws on the top and bottom of the glove box allows it to be slid forward leaving enough room to replace it from below. (after removing the plastic cover and fan motor resistor under the glove box) The fan seems to have gotten a little louder than the native one, but there are no complaints about the price and ease of installation.
