I bought a 5 inch halo shower trim kit to replace the exact same model (circa 2011) which broke after being swatted with a towel by a fly and the glass had been hit lens shattered in the bathtub. Ease of installation. The overlay ring is a beautiful bright white color and fits right up to the ceiling. The only downside is that the glass lens doesn't seem as secure as it could be as it hangs on 3 "pins" that go into the grooves of the lens when rotated. That being said, I won't be hitting a fly on the shower ceiling again!
