I have used some cheap Chinese cameras like Vimtag and Amcrest and am very impressed with the quality and picture of Reolink compared to them. The night vision quality is fantastic. The contrast in these products was high enough that I removed all other cameras and replaced them with Reolinks. The last straw for me was that I found Chinese cameras bombarding my router with attempts to contact an unknown IP outside of my network ads and there didn't seem to be a setting to allow or disable this. I don't know what data they are trying to send and where. I like the mechanical ball joint design for flexible adjustment and easy assembly. Highly recommended.
