I keep buying these because they are very bright as advertised. This is perhaps one of the brightest flashlights on the market, catching the attention of motorists even on a sunny day. Unfortunately, these kigoliths have a fatal flaw: if the battery is completely drained, they will never work again. I accidentally left the first one on overnight and it never turned on again. I bought a second one and used it repeatedly without charging until the battery died. I tried charging it and it wouldn't turn on. Bought third party. It still works, but I'm constantly worried about the charge. This is not a problem with my Cygolite 900lm headlight. Unlike headlights, these hotshot taillights do not have a low voltage cutoff and they will continually discharge the lithium battery to 0 volts, destroying it.
