Universal bookshelf with subwoofer - great if you don't have to rotate it

The value of this kit lies in the subwoofer and the three input formats available (wired AUX, BT and optical). This is a great setup for the price, especially if you want it to be user friendly, for example to be "installed" by a non-technical person. I've seen complaints about the size of the subwoofer. In short, the more the merrier. In the professional audio world, it's not uncommon to power two subwoofers that weigh over 100 pounds each. With another Edifier product I reviewed, the main limitation was the lack of a subwoofer. If you do this, you want that it is strong enough - unless the acoustics of your room oppose it. This package overcomes this limitation. BLUETOOTH NOTES I use Bluetooth with other portable speakers (e.g. JBL portable Bluetooth speakers and in a car via a BT adapter plugged into a 3.5mm jack), but I'm trying in the generally to be avoided. Sometimes that's fine, but not reliable enough. I also refer analogously to wireless keyboards and wireless data transmission. Give me a wired digital optical or SPDIF network cable any day of the week! Despite the aesthetic flaws. I would rate this BT implementation as above average and easy to pair with the PCs I tested, which only recognized it as audio. However, I switched to AUX as soon as I found a cable that was long enough. .PRO - 110W RMS power enough to get the job done - Complete package BLUETOOTH NOTES I use Bluetooth with other portable speakers (e.g. JBL portable Bluetooth speakers and in a car via a BT adapter attached to a 3.5mm jack is plugged in), but I generally try to avoid it.
