I'm saying this based on the fact that I dropped my Macbook Pro with the same case on a slate floor and it didn't protect my laptop. The screen is damaged and I have to pay $400 to have it replaced. I do NOT blame the fall ANYTHING, even though my floors are hard. If you're clumsy like me or not good with electronics, you might want a more durable case. Overall it looks very cool and protects my MacBook from everyday wear and tear, scratches etc. but not from hard drops on the floor.
