They prevent my cats from ruining my furniture. I sprinkle some catnip on top or spray them with catnip spray and very quickly I get what that is. Of course I keep vertical cat carriers for them, but they really like these. I can leave them in one place or put them in different places. I turn them over when they look worn. If I only had one cat I would post one at a time. My only issue is cats ruin them as small pieces fall off when scratched. It would be better if I could buy them a frame. However, I'd rather sweep the mess than let them scratch my couch.
