It worked quickly on my PC, iPad etc. It comes with an app. I don't download an app that hasn't been updated in over a year and doesn't have protection. This app is from China and I'm sorry I don't trust it. Just like my security app. I was afraid it wouldn't work without it, but it works. I downloaded photos to it, more than 100 at a time. It was fast and so far so good. Now I don't have to worry about limited storage space on iPad and the like anymore. You can use Clouds but you have to be online to get photos, not with this one. That's 512GB, which is the maximum I've seen on a similar device.
