Likes:The body is nicely made and the aesthetics are nice.When it works, it's very nice (you MUST live in an area with low humidity and even then the key is to position it in front of an open window even when it's triple digits outside or you will transform your space into a steam room)It's quiet on speeds one and two and not too noisy at the top speed (three).Dislikes:The reservoir seems big enough until you run the fan using the cooling feature (vs just running as a fan). In high temps, using the evaporative cooling feature will deplete the reservoir in approximately two hours. So, you can turn on the timing feature for 2 hours to be on the safe side and not burn out the motor, but then you've got a room with hot stagnant air -- which you're obviously trying to do something about or you wouldn't be shopping for an evaporative cooling fan.The oscillating feature stopped working within a few days.In conclusion, you can use the evaporative feature for a couple of hours at a time. As a fan, it's weak and I would value it at far less than $100, let alone $200+.The fan came with a card that if you take a picture of the review and email the picture of the posted review directly to the seller they will send you a $50 amazon gift card. Problem, what keeps consumers safer and from being scammed by sellers in communist nations where nothing is non-government is Best Buy between you. Is your data worth just $50 to you? Further, buyer beware as it is just as the reviewer Midsummer wrote, I chose this fan based upon the reviews. I'm returning it because I either need a good fan that I can leave on for my pets while I'm at work (cannot leave ac on for them as they pull floor vents off and damage ductwork), or a more reliable evaporative cooler.
