This knife set has sharp blades and handles for a firm grip. This makes the two tools easier to use. I had never used a Julien knife before but figuring out how to use it was easy. Chopped carrots are great for salads. So it's nice to have this new cookware. Peeling looks like it was made to last. I have a small complaint: the handles are too thick for me. I have rather small hands. I measured myself as wearing a size 7 with a plastic dish mitt. I can use these cleaners and they work well. But after a while your hands get tired. This doesn't happen with my scissors with narrower handles.
