Now available in cheap plastic

These are not your father's ANCO blades. They're made of plastic. If you lift it to clear the windshield and don't carefully lower it, the plastic will fall apart. You can reassemble it, but every time that happens the plastic latches loosen until they fall apart when you move them. I've been using this brand for over thirty years. Too bad they are cheaper. I'm looking for another brand.

Pros
  • Lasting test results
Cons
  • Almost never

great wiper blades at an affordable price

updated on 02/28/2018 Unfortunately they didn't even last two months! I think you get what you pay for and of course I missed the return window. I won't buy them again. Original review 01/15/18 I used to have Bosch icons, they were expensive and not the best at all, they left streaks and squeaked a lot. Anco wiper blades are half the price, work much better and are much quieter, we were very surprised. I'm glad Anco has good quality at an affordable price. Let's see how long they hold out inโ€ฆ

Pros
  • great design
Cons
  • nothing included

IGNORE ALL NEGATIVE FEEDBACK! Anco wiper blades have a high quality metal frame and are 35% cheaper at Revain than in a dealership! Quality wheels for our cars at an affordable price! Tip: Keep your car's existing mount, like my car's rear wiper blade, to ensure a perfect fit. I had to remove the rubber blade and fit it to an existing OEM Fiat 500 custom rear wiper bracket, which is perfect! I have only used ANCO wiper blades for many years. Strong buy!

Pros
  • Makes you happy
Cons
  • Will be added later

This wiper lasted 4 months. It literally fell apart.

This wiper lasted 4 months. It literally fell apart. As I drove by, I thought the rubber rim had snapped and was dangling. Came home to inspect but turned out not quite right. The rubber slipped off the blade itself. So I put it back into the little grooves on the blade that hold it in place. No, I'm still making noise and trying to get back out. Something in the blade must be broken. One of the clips I guess. In 20 years of driving this is the first windshield wiper that I have had to replaceโ€ฆ

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

A few days of driving and they bounce across my clean windshield.

Well I thought they would work but after a week or so on a clean windshield they started slipping constantly. I bought a couple of Bosch blades from retail and got them back right away. ----------------------------- -------- ------------------------------- ----- --------- -------- I just installed them on my mid 90's ZJ Jeep Grand Cherokee. They work well and I keep my windshield clean. I think the marketing of wiper blades is hype and I got them at a great price with the Revain add-on. It'sโ€ฆ

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • upgrade availability

Possibly the worst wipers we have ever bought. They've been in the car the full two months this spring, only survived a couple of rainstorms and are officially worse than the old used ones we hired as replacements. So many streaks and lines, it seems like you wiped the window with an old wet newspaper. The window doesn't even get scratched or cleaned of anything, it just throws dust and pollen around like wiping it with a wet hand. I can't wash the window dust off with liquid, let alone driveโ€ฆ

Good enough for windshield wipers and washers

Most wiper blades are expected to be replaced about every 6-12 months to achieve truly optimal performance. That said, some of my blades last for years, but that's mostly due to lack of use. It doesn't rain much where I live so it just has to withstand the sun and UV rays take a long time to really break down the rubber. If you are dealing with a lot of rain or snow I would replace the blades about once a year for safety or invest in heavier blades. These blades work well and I can't imagineโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Industry Best
Cons
  • Repair

As you can see in the attached picture (the wiper blade under the box is new, the bottom one which is clearly worn is old), the blade length is correct but the bottom bracket assembly is slightly different. I only noticed this after installing it on my car and trying to put the cover on. The compressed distance from the J-hook to the glass surface is too small/narrow for the blade not to press against the glass to make contact. When you put a wiper cover (on the tailgate of a car) it doesn'tโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Damaged

Wiper blade is ok but instructions stink

I tried to understand and follow the lowercase instructions + blurry images on the wiper blade packaging but they were useless. I've watched the videos on the Revain list several times, but that too was hard to see/follow. I searched the internet (including the ANCO website) for instructions, but it was like trying to navigate a maze. I ended up installing this rear wiper blade on my 2004 Honda CR-V EX, completely ignoring the instructions and using common sense instead. I suggest you do theโ€ฆ
