The problem with these tweezers is that they are thick and sharp. That is, converging ends are trimmed so that it is difficult to pluck them accurately (e.g. eyebrows). Also, they are very sharp, so when I finally grab the hair, it cuts or breaks (which is very annoying and frustrating). I was hoping to replace a pair of Tweezerman tweezers that my toddler had dulled. Unfortunately, this kit is not suitable for precise facial hair removal. The ends are about 50% thicker than my Tweezerman tweezers and too sharp to grab hairs without cutting through them. I've seen some other reviewers mention that they're sharp - they're pretty sharp, but not really a problem if you have a steady hand (I'd say my tweezers were about as sharp as they were was new).
