Review on Auto Ventshade [AVS] Low Profile Ventvisor / Rain Guards Matte Black, 4 Pc 774011 Fits 2009 - 2014 Ford F-150 SuperCrew, 2011 - 2014 SVT Raptor SuperCrew by Rafael Lewis

I ordered this product because it was about $20 cheaper than my local Advance Auto Parts. First off, the shipping was a little slow, but with the $20 savings that wasn't too big of a deal. Now to the product, very easy to install. You pull the backing off of the adhesive strips, apply to the window channel, push in a clip, and roll your windows up. Keep your windows up for at least a day to let the adhesive grab on. Now comes the frustrating part: the window of the 2009-current F150 will bump the clip you placed in the channel. If you have the automatic windows, you will experience the window opening back up half way. This is a sure way to burn out your window motor. It does not say in the instructions from AVS, but you must remove these clips after the adhesive strips set. I left mine in for a week and pulled them out carefully with a flat head screw driver. At this point the clips will no longer be needed (I pitched them). The windows now operate perfectly and I no longer experience the up-down of the automatic window.This review is subject to change if the visors ever make my windows do the automatic up-down thing again. It was frustrating, especially on rainy days.
