Model V3: Priced higher but in stock for approx. It is very well thought out and easy to use. Really free hands. I believe anyone who has difficulty closing such machines will greatly appreciate the automatic cocking mechanism. The vacuum in "dry" mode is very strong, leaving things like ground coffee like a rock in a bag. I feel like the 'Moisture' setting could have been a bit stronger, but it definitely keeps things like liquid from getting into the car which could prevent a full seal. The tray easily detaches for cleaning and the separate hose/button is also easy to use. The most impressive thing about this car is the value for money. This is probably the most innovative machine in this category right now, significantly changing the experience while still being available at 1/3 the price of other premium competitors. The only thing left to test is how durable and reliable this machine will prove to be. Since it's still new, we're still beta testers here. This could only be improved if it were possible to complete the vacuum cycle and seal immediately (something like an impulse). For example when vacuuming. "DRY" when you should have pressed "wet" you can see the liquid coming out towards the machine. At the moment you can only exit/exit the whole sequence by pressing the dry button again - it doesn't seal. But I think it would be nice if you could press the seal button to instantly complete the vacuum cycle and seal the bag at any time. During operation, press DRY/MOIST/EXT to complete the process. SEAL to break the vacuum and instantly seal the bag/container. As an upgrade, cleaning is also very easy. Place some marinated meat on the MOISTURE setting and the machine will shut off the vacuum once the liquid comes out of the bag. The seal is (I think) made of silicone and doesn't absorb liquid. I turned the car over to see if anything had hit the top, particularly the heating element, and it came out clean. The tray absorbs liquid well and is very easy to clean and wipe clean along with the inner top of the vacuum section. The vacuum port is also located at the top of the machine. So if your bag is pointing down into the compartment, there is little chance of it clogging. If you are sealing wet items and liquid seeps in to the point of sealing, I recommend quickly rinsing the top of the pouch, wiping dry, and resealing. Seals on wet areas of the bag can sometimes be incomplete. ------------- An additional note: there is an original V8 model, a V3 model - and now I see a V1 model on Revain, but there is very little information on the V1 . It's not on the Fresco website or on their Facebook account so be aware.
