I didn³'t expect the quality to be this good.

In compared to the previous unlocked model produced by the same firm, which I used for a period of four years, this model represents a significant improvement in terms of quality as well as in terms of its overall appearance and the manner in which it implements web interface settings. The absence of an engineering culture, however, continues to have an effect on the shape of individual design faults, as can be seen from the deficiencies that have been enumerated above. If the company is able to take another step forward of this magnitude, then in the not too distant future, their products will be on par with those made by Japanese manufacturers.

Pros
  • High-quality construction, reliable functioning, and addition of external antennas as standard features.
Cons
  • A slot for utilizing micro-SIM cards that is exceedingly inconvenient: the only SIM cards that can be used in this slot are those with the "old" big format, which have not been used in smartphones for quite some time. When you have to use a micro-SIM, you need to be extremely precise, so that when such a SIM card in the appropriate adapter is inserted into the slot, it turns out far from the first time. This can be a challenge. The external horn antennas have inadequate mounting but are, on the whole, very reliable. At least when the device is set to operate in 3G mode, the signal strength is comparable to that of the built-in antenna. The Wifi range is somewhat better than the previous model, but on a property that is 6 acres in size, a couple of meters are not enough to reach the summer kitchen from a mobile phone. The menu does not have any settings for adjusting the strength of the WiFi signal; in general, the menu for configuring the settings is straightforward and user-friendly, but it is on the point of being overly simplistic.
