It is NOT 100% silicone. It also uses plastic which is not food safe
The rims that the lids are placed on are plastic, like the lids themselves, so it is NOT safe to heat it in the microwave or wash in the dishwasher. Consumer Reports wrote an entire article on why plastic should never be used in these places.
