Exactly as advertised

Overall I'm happy with the set. I was hoping to add a set of travel-friendly brushes for more detailed work and I certainly wasn't disappointed. I have excellent quality full size brushes that were quite expensive and cheaper brushes that are more travel friendly as they don't need an extra long case to protect them. These brushes are perfect for me, apart from being ergonomic, vegan and eco-friendly. The case is definitely made for more active artists than me, but the fact that there's a kit case is a bonus for those who like to keep their brush sets together. It's cute and has an extra pocket, presumably for pencils or watercolors. This is a canvas bag. So if you're traveling with them, I'll pay attention to how you pack them. As for the brushes themselves and performance. They are definitely good liners. They give you enough control to get very fine lines, almost thin lines. I'd say you can get a line about 0.005 microns thick if you have a steady hand. The only thing I would say to watercolorists is that if you're working with wet layers you need an extra brush, a cheap big brush to apply water to the page in large areas. These are great liners. Wide brushes cover a decent area but aren't designed for big, quick coverage. All in all these are great brushes and as always I can say they are made with a new age artist in mind judging by the way they are packaged, the case and the design of the brushes themselves. They are exactly what they say they are.
