We received this chair from our in-laws and the worn out cushions were covered in a 70s yellow-orange plaid. While that color may have matched the walls- it doesn’t match the esthetic I’m going for. Until we decide to fork up the money to pay for new cushions to be custom made for the chair these are a great option to cover up.The covers were WAY more stretchy than I expected- being that the cushions were on the thinner side I purchased clips thinking I would have to use them to make them taught around the cushion but to my surprise they stretched around and fit a lot better than I expected. I still used the clips for a nice tight fit- but if I didn’t already have them I might not have worried about itI love the color- great tone- not too bright. And obviously my cat loves it too
