Amerelle Almond Faux Slate Single Toggle/Single Duplex Resin Wallplate Review

Almost an exact replacement for the charger that came standard with my Acer 5920 laptop. The cord wasn't any shorter, and it charges correctly. The charging pack gives off a little bit of heat, but nothing out of the ordinary. Overall a good replacement charger.

The product worked just fine and I was glad not to be buying one of those cheap, knock-off power adapters. However, it didn't work out any better. Seven months later, the cord doesn't work - just flat out doesn't work.At least it didn't melt my battery or something catastrophic. I guess that's good . . .

This was a great value works perfect with my acer!The cord is slightly shorter as mentioned by some others, but not enough to make a huge difference. Very happy with this purchase.

I like the look of the faux slaye elecyrica covers but had an issue with the woranship of the 1 duplex. It did not fit overs our oitlets and we had to file the holes to make it fit.

Having a product that was specifically designed for another product is usually the best to purchase for that other product. I never noticed that my Acer laptop was no longer being used with an Acer adapter, which I am sure that I had originally. It is good that everything seems to be working properly.

Very fast delivery.I had no problem with these AC supplies.I bought two of them for my ACER laptop, One for home and one for work. There is not much to say about a power supply that works, good price, enough power to run the laptop and charge the laptop battery same time, plug fits in the hole. If I need another one I would buy it again.

Received my acer replacement cord several weeks ago after my original started falling apart. Has worked perfectly if not a little better. Charging computer and not noticing any additional heat coming from the cord like other reviews stated that I had read. I would definately by another from here if need be(but hopefully not for some time :) ).Also received about a day earlier than was predicted in the shipping so that's alway nice. Overall, a very good experience!

This replacement charger fits my acer 3680 perfectly. It comes with the power cord which isn't shown in the picture. It's great because it really is made for my laptop so I don't have to mess with trying multiple universal adapters to see which fits best

This is the perfect replacement for the charger that finally gave up the ghost. This charger actually charges my battery faster than the original and it is Acer branded. This thing works as advertised. Everything is fine about it. The only things I would have a problem with are the cord length (it's not as long as my original Acer power adapter was) and the heat dissipation---it tends to heat up a lot, even if you're not doing anything intensive on the laptop. But other than those things, it works well.

If you've not seen a similar Amerelle wallplate in the store before ordering, you may be disappointed in the color this is. It's not really almond, from a distance it moreso looks like a somewhat dirty/dingy deep tan/light brown with speckles. It's like the attempt was made to resemble a patterned piece of granite with a slate look. If you can look at it from that perspective, you might like this. Actually, it happens to work with our marble countertop in the bathroom so I'm ok, but not…

I have gone through three power supplies since the one that came with my ACER Aspire One. It did not quit, the wires broke as others have done. This on looks good so far, I have been using it for about two months now, no problems. It does not get as warm as my last one did. I like the right angle plug, I think it will last longer than my previous one.

These switchplate covers were exactly what I was looking for to go on a brick wall in my kitchen. They look like slate of some sort but are actually polyresin (I think.) Had to drop to 4 stars as I needed 5 covers (2 x Doubles, 2 x Singles, and 1 x Triple). Unfortunately the Doubles and Triples all match but the singles are a different color although same brand and (color/style) name. I will have to repaint all to make them match.

The charger works just fine. I've had it for a little over a month and haven't experienced any difficulties. The cord is a little shorter than the one my computer came with but apart from that it works great.
