Review on Stens 102 149 Replaces 17211 ZG9 800 17218 ZG9 800 by Chris Russell

I could have bought the unnamed filter but decided on the Stens in hopes of getting a better filter. Too bad I didn't take a picture to add to this review. During the manufacturing process, the blue foam is pushed out of the mold into the filter area, blocking part of the surface. I estimate that 10 to 20 percent of the filter material was covered in blue, causing the engine to run rich at full load. It is impossible to cut off excess foam without damaging the paper filter.
