Construction is very good. Material and workmanship appear to be first class. Great features: zip and button combo, lining (not insulated) that doesn't seem to move, detachable hood, and elasticated drawstrings to keep the coat snug when needed. Full belly coverage is good, especially for low-set dogs, as their bell doesn't get wet or dirty. A few things I think you need to give a little thought to is the size of the hood. We have a Yorkie and the XS size hood does not fit (fully) over her head. It barely covers their ears so it would be nice if they were a bit bigger. In addition, dimensions are difficult to determine from tables. Our Yorkshire Terrier weighs just over 7lbs and a size XS fits him perfectly, especially in cold weather and with clothes underneath so there's a lot to think about. Also, the raincoat has a lanyard slot to attach it to the harness as many raincoats don't have this. I love the raincoat and while the price is high compared to others, the materials and construction can make it worth it. I would buy it again
