I've tried everything! Spend hours searching Google for limescale and toilet deposit solutions. (Our water is very, very bad and accumulates quickly). I tried every product I could find. I was able to get the stains out, but since the hard water deposits remained, the toilet became stained again very quickly. It turns out that good old pumice stone does the job. Just make sure it's slightly damp before you start brushing. I thought it would scratch the surface, but it doesn't. Takes a little elbow grease - a little - maybe 2-3 minutes. Much less time than I spent on all the other methods I tried.
