Review on CHYING Dimmable Rectangle Chandelier Lighting by James Lesley

I cannot recommend this product at all. My advice to you: DO NOT BUY! Despite this, I wanted to love this product, I really did, but it has a SERIOUS problem that prevents further use and causes me to return it. 1) You can ONLY control this light and its functions with the remote control. 2) My remote control is NOT compatible with the light. I have followed the instructions in the remote control box as well as the instructions on this page. No success. 3) And even IF the remote MAY work, the product STILL has a problem: I have a smart dimmer (Lutron Caseta) on the wall that controls several lights on the ceiling next to this one. When I turn off this switch, the circuitry in the light turns off and the long-distance connection is lost as a result. And when it does, it also reverts to the default setting: BRIGHT WHITE. This requires you to re-pair the remote and reset the light level every time you turn on the light switch. This is the opposite of a smart home product. In fact, I would even go so far as to say that it actually makes your home look dumber and more irritable. In fact, this product will ONLY work in a place where there is a switch that always stays on, and then YOU have to control the functions (all - turn on, turn off, dim, etc.) with the remote control. which (although mine and someone else's experience) does not connect. And honestly, who wants another remote control on the coffee table in 2020 when most products have either switched to WiFi app or voice control? EXTRA quality of the product is missing. The supplied assembly instructions are beyond useless. Whilst it is easy for most to understand HOW this should be done, you can see the product's shortcomings: A) The white screws included to hold the lighting rectangles do not actually go into the hole in the rectangle, they protrude out a bit (not flush with the edge). B) The powder-coated lamp base had defects that were not found during the inspection. C) The two end screws that connect the lamp base to the base are not painted white, but chrome-plated (shiny). If you have attention to detail you can paint these two screws like I did, but that adds another day of waiting for the two screws to dry. D) The base box leaves a gap between the box and the ceiling. The two mounting screws mentioned above do not allow vertical adjustment, only horizontal one. And really, for $150, you would expect those set screws to have some sort of shroud hiding those two screws. If you have read this far, I say again: DO NOT BUY.
