For ultra fine metal glue bottle tips
Ultra fine metal glue bottle tips need stainless pins! (unless it comes with its own pin). Ordinary sewing needles will rust at the tip and dirty the glue, not pretty! It's hard to find pins that don't rust. I even "tested" with all the sewing/quilting needles I have in soaked paper towel for a few days and only applied (1) a small amount of rust. However, the same pins rusted in my glue bottle. Can't figure out why but after years of using ultra fine tips.! Art Institute Glitter Pens will always be my go-to choice for superfine glue tips.
