These will provide an instant cup of espresso in your nesspresso machine, but they are finicky to use. The grind of the coffee needs to be just right, so if you dont have a good quality adjustible grind coffee grinder dont bother with these. I opened up a store bought pod to compare the texture before grinding. The amount of coffee you use is important (4-5 grams) and the type of bean, as not every bean grinds the same way. They did seal up and they stayed on while in use. But only 2 in 10 made a cup of espresso similar to the store bought pods. Without some care given to the pod-packing, the machine chokes and wont output well or it runs out quickly for a watered down tasting cup. I'm re-using store bought pods that already have holes punched in the bottom so that might be a big reason for these issues. Who knows for sure? I'm just too frugal to want to pay .70 per cup of coffee, so I fiddle about with these.
