Used four of these to evenly adjust the four exterior lights and they look a lot better now that they are flush mounted. slightly angled because I attached them directly to the vinyl siding on the porch. If I had known they existed years ago I would have used them because they look good, are inexpensive and are easy to install. There are holes in the center for wires to pass through and the vinyl trim fits snugly into the rear groove for a snug fit. An extra hole needs to be drilled for the electrical box in the wall and in between, but that's certainly no reason not to use them as the light now looks a lot cleaner and nicer as it's mounted perfectly straight.
