Perfect fit, curious installation

Use case: For easy flush mounting doorbell. Pros: Fits perfectly on my 4" overlapping vinyl siding, barely any room! Cons: I wasn't sure how to install it, so there weren't any screws? ) as it's not a junction box, just one flush surface. I ended up just inserting two screws that wedged into the corners of the open spaces in the center. They ended up behind the ring so you can't see them, but it's not a clean fix yet.

Pros
  • For use on 4-10 inch side panels
Cons
  • Dim

I sanded the front of the block and the back of the trim with 80 grit sandpaper and epoxy sanded a piece of trim that matches my house on this block to cover the center holes, allowing my new bib to slide slightly off the center of the Holes removed this siding block is not shown…

Pros
  • Made in USA
Cons
  • I'll write later

If I had known they existed years ago I would have used them because they look good, are inexpensive and are easy to install. There are holes in the center for wires to pass through and the vinyl trim fits snugly into the rear groove for a snug fit. An extra hole needs to be drilled for the…

Pros
  • Provides a flat surface for all external accessories.
Cons
  • Unreliable.
