Review on πŸ’§ Enhance Your Drinking Water with the Culligan PIT-1 Water Filter Pitcher! by Kim Savage

Tiny. Bad design.

This is a very poor design for a jug filter system. The upper part must be completely drained, otherwise the water from the storage tank will come out together with the filtered water. The amount of water you can filter with each fill is pretty small. I keep topping up and checking to see if the bottom tank is full. If it is not full, the filter will dry out and have to be shaken. There are many guesses! I bought this jug because of a water pollution alert in our area. I googled and only found two filter systems that filtered it out. One just had the whole house system and the other had the calligan. However, I'm trying to figure out if the little jug filter actually does this, or if it's just a home-made Culligan system. This suggests this is a "simple" filter device, which doesn't tell me much. For convenience, I prefer my Pur tank. It's much better constructed and holds a lot more water, but it wasn't listed as removing the one pollutant we were warned about.
