My microwave has two settings, high and low, and it actually works on both settings, but I would say the low is so low it's almost impossible to use. I know they aren't dimmable so I'm fine with that, but just a warning to anyone thinking of them. Would be perfect lighting for a freezer or fridge but we don't have anything this size other than a microwave. The downside is that one of them died from me within the first two uses. Not a big deal since I had two spares, but a bit annoying. Replacing them is not worth it due to the low cost, which also makes them less disruptive. Build quality appears to be good, with the exception of the burn-in issue.
