Replacing old lightbulbs with these Shinestar LEDs was amazing (understatement of the year!) Absolutely gorgeous light. I highly recommend them. Pretty sure they're brighter than all the lights in the kitchen combined. If you need a great night light in the kitchen, this will definitely help.

These 6000k lightbulbs are so white and bright but give them 4 stars for the fact that the microwave has two intensity options and they barely work. low setting. I'm glad I have good lighting for cooking, but not all the lights are on in the kitchen.

I installed one of these in our Whirlpool Gold microwave. The microwave has high, low and off hood light settings. The light comes on at both high and low settings, but does not go out when the setting is off. Good amount of light at high settings. Not sure what it is. Basically we have a night light in the kitchen. Does anyone else have this problem?

My microwave is above the stove. There is a button on the touch panel of the microwave to turn the light on and off. Press the button once and the light will turn on at full power, a second press will dim the light to lower the power for the 'Night Light' setting. LED bulbs are definitely bright at full wattage but disappoint when dimmed down to low wattage. Had to look under the microwave to see if they were on. These LED bulbs don't come anywhere near as bright as original incandescent bulbs…

My microwave has two settings, high and low, and it actually works on both settings, but I would say the low is so low it's almost impossible to use. I know they aren't dimmable so I'm fine with that, but just a warning to anyone thinking of them. I've used these little guys in some old ceiling fans. The price was absolutely right for these little boogers. They emit very bright light, the temperature of 3000K is very comfortable. They are a very good weight and look impeccable, I couldn't find a single small flaw - and I'm a person who pays a lot of attention to detail.
